Anita Ramachandran
Anita Ramachandran

Anita Ramachandran is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems at BITS Pilani. Her areas of expertise are Networking Technologies and Network Management. As a faculty and a key member of the Program Committee for Computer Science for the Work Integrated Learning Programmes initiative of BITS Pilani, she has been involved in industry engagement, designing curriculum and digitization & delivery of course content. Her current areas of interest are Wireless Sensors and Adhoc Networks

Chandra Shekar RK
Chandra Shekar RK

Chandra Shekar RK is Assistant Professor at BITS Pilani, with over 15 years of teaching experience. He holds an M.Tech. in Computer Network Engineering, and has also worked in the IT industry in the area of Enterprise Application development. Chandra's areas of expertise include Computer Networks, Cloud infrastructure, Mobile App development and his current interest is in Labs on Open hardware board (RPi) and IoT.

Prof G S Sesha Chalapathi

G S Sesha Chalapathi is a Lecturer with the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at BITS Pilani. He has received his Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with Distinction and Master of Engineering in Embedded Systems from BITS Pilani. He is currently working for his Ph.D. at BITS Pilani in Wireless Sensor Networks- Time Synchronization and Localization Protocol Design. Chalapathi has been teaching courses in Digital Design, Electrical Science, Microprocessor Programming & Interfacing, Real-Time Systems, and Hardware-Software Co-design at both undergraduate and graduate level for over 6 years. He also guides undergraduate and graduate level students pursuing dissertations and research in areas such as Embedded Systems Design and Wireless Sensor Networks.

Prof Sreejith V
Prof Sreejith V

Sreejith V is a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems at BITS Pilani. Prior to joining BITS Pilani, Sreejith was working at Indian Institute of Technology, Madras as a Project Associate in the area of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). His specialization includes protocol development for Mobile WSN and Terrestrial WSN. His research interests include developing protocols for monitoring and tracking applications using WSN, area exploration using mobile robots, energy efficient communication protocol development for mobile WSN, affective computing and location based services. His teaching interest includes Computer Networks, Pervasive Computing, Software Development for portable devices etc.

K R Anupama
K R Anupama

K.R. Anupama is a Professor in the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at BITS Pilani. Her area of expertise is Networked/ Deeply Embedded Systems and she has been engaged in research and teaching for the past 18 years in this area. Anupama has worked extensively on industrial projects in the area of Network Embedded Systems, and has completed sponsored research projects to the tune of INR 20mn. She also has built a WSN-based system for remote monitoring pipeline health and customer gas consumption via internet for Gas Authority of India Limited. As a key member of the Programme Committee for Embedded Systems, Anupama has been designing MOOC courses for over 3 years. She is also the Lead instructor for SPOC course on Microprocessor and Embedded System Design available on various platforms including the Work Integrated Learning Programmes initiative of BITS Pilani.

Prof Brajabandhu Mishra
Prof Brajabandhu Mishra

Brajabandhu Mishra is an Associate Professor at BITS Pilani. His area of expertise includes Embedded Software in the domains of Audio, Video, Networking and Smartphone. Brajabandhu has spent more than 17 years in Industry in Embedded Software domain with companies such as Intel, Broadcom, LG, and Pace. He has filed several patents in US patent office, out of which 11 patents have been granted. Brajabandhu received his Master's degree in Electronics Design and Technology from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He designs and delivers courses in Embedded Systems Design, Real Time Systems, Software for Embedded Systems, and Network Embedded Applications through the Work Integrated Learning Programmes initiative of BITS Pilani.

Prof Haribabu
Prof Haribabu

Dr. Haribabu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems at BITS Pilani. His areas of expertise are Distributed Systems and Networking. Hari has a teaching experience of 11 years. He has been teaching courses such as Cloud Computing, Computer Networks and Network Programming. He has been actively pursuing his research interests in the area of Peer-to-peer overlays and Software Defined Networking.

Prof. K G Krishna

KG Krishna is an Associate Professor with the Department of Computer Science & Information Systems at BITS Pilani. He has over 35 years of experience in IT industry in the design and delivery of products and services for global clients in Embedded Systems and Enterprise Software arena. He is passionate about Science and Electronics and in his spare time loves to dirty his hands building physical models and run thought-experiments on paper. His interests include Design Thinking, Internet-of-Things, Developmental Economics, eGovernance and Digital Organizations. Krishna started his career with typing lines of Fortran code on a punch-card machine after graduating with M.Tech., from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

Prof Meetha V Shenoy
Prof Meetha V Shenoy

Dr. Meetha V Shenoy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus. Meetha's specialization is in the area of Deeply Embedded Systems and she teaches courses such as  Embedded System Design, Software for Embedded Systems, Networked Embedded Applications, Microprocessor Programming & Interfacing etc.  She has been a lead instructor and also a member of the content development team for some of the courses delivered through BITS Pilani's online content delivery platform.  Her current research work includes design of Optimal Embedded Hardware, Software and network architectures for real time systems such as Mobile Wireless Sensor Networks. She is also working on development of  Swarm Robotic Systems and Autonomous Navigation systems in indoor environments. Meetha has a teaching and research experience of over 7 years.  In-addition to this, Meetha has served as a Design and Development Engineer with an organization that provides technology consultancy, software and system design services for the automotive, consumer electronics, telecom and healthcare industries for 2 years.

Prof Vinay Chamola
Prof Vinay Chamola

Vinay Chamola is currently Assistant Professor in Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, BITS Pilani. Vinay received his B.E. degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Master's degree in Communication Engineering from BITS, Pilani, India in 2010 and 2013 respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore, in 2016. From June to Aug. 2015, he was a Visiting Researcher at the Autonomous Networks Research Group (ANRG) at the University of Southern California (USC), USA. After his Ph.D., he worked as a Post Doctoral Researcher at the National University of Singapore in the area of Internet of Things. His research interests include Internet of Things, Solar powered cellular networks, Energy efficiency in cellular networks and Networking issues in cyber-physical systems.

Dr. Amit Dua

Dr. Amit Dua is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems at BITS Pilani. His areas of expertise are Distributed Systems, Blockchain, Machine learning, and Networking. Amit has a teaching and research experience of 7 years. He has been teaching courses such as Advanced Operating Systems, Computer Networks, and Database Systems. He has been actively pursuing his research interests in the area of applications of Blockchain in the environmental domain and improvement in medical treatment using deep learning.

Pawan Sharma
Pawan Sharma

Pawan Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Work Integrated Learning Programmes Division of BITS Pilani. His area of expertise is Digital VLSI Design and Reconfigurable Computing and has been engaged in research and teaching in the field of Microelectronics for the last 17 years. Pawan has over six years of industrial experience in design and automation of distributed control systems in process industries. He has played a key role in establishing state-of-the-art Virtual and Remote laboratories in the field of VLSI Design, Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering and Embedded Systems at BITS-Pilani.
Pawan completed his Masters in Microelectronics from BITS, Pilani, Pilani campus in 2005.
